Improperly developed soils and compacted turfs in highly used areas in sports fields create problems. Due to its superb water-draining properties, and because it is much lighter than alternatives such as gravel, sand, or other aggregates, is far easier to transport and handle and most preferred for golf course construction methods adopted in the world.

It is 100% inert with a neutral pH value, resistant to frost and chemicals, will not break down in the water, is non-biodegradable, non-combustible and has excellent sound and thermal insulation properties, and ideal for Sport Field Construction, turf construction, turf field construction, golf course construction methods adopted in today's world.
Filling Technique using ECA®
60 % of total volume, Mix with equal portion of Expanded Clay Aggregate (ECA®) (2-8 mm or 2-8 mm crushed ECA®) + Normal Soil + Manure. This will be the Root Zone layer.
20 % of total volume, Fill up with Expanded Clay Aggregate (ECA®) with size of 8-15 mm to act as a drainage layer.
