If you are working on a project that requires a large-scale refractory material, such as a kiln, blast furnace, incinerator, reactor, or a related project, Expanded Clay Aggregate (ECA ®) is an ideal choice.
This is because ECA ® has all of the attributes required for a refractory. It can withstand extremely high temperatures without deforming and does not expand when heated or cooled, due to the unique “honeycomb” internal structure created during the production process.
